Here are just a few photos from our wedding! Despite all the stress and drama before the wedding, the wedding itself turned out pretty well, and we had a lot of fun! I do think that if it had been JUST the wedding I would have been really disappointed because things still went wrong… But since it was on a cruise with our friends and family we had a blast, and that does help make up for all the stress!
I will say that I am really disappointed in the photos provided by Royal Caribbean (all except the beach photo, above). The quality isn’t great, and although we got 30 prints, the images they gave us on CD aren’t large enough to make more prints–what are we supposed to do with a 600×400 image? Worthless. I actually scanned in the ones you see above, because I really just can’t do anything with the small digital images they provided. Anthony’s parents want us to go get some professional photos done since most of our actual wedding photos are pretty disappointing. I kind of have to agree.
But that’s not fun to talk about! Let me tell you instead about how awesome it was to spend a week with our friends and family! I got to see cousins I hadn’t seen in almost 10 years, friends I made in Germany, and I got to spend some time with my brothers, which, even though we live close, we don’t do very often. It was a great trip! I’m so thankful to my parents for giving me such an amazing week! I’m trying to figure out what I can do to say thank you to them for putting so much time and money into the cruise!
Our ship went to Saint Thomas, Saint Kitts, Aruba, and Curacao, and it left out of Puerto Rico, so we got to have all sorts of great adventures! I hope to actually blog about each port and the wedding individually (you know I’m bad at that stuff, we’ll see how it goes), but we got to go ziplining, snorkeling, and even rented a van to go on our own adventures. I saw the rain forest, sea turtles, a shipwreck, and monkeys! Pretty darn amazing, if you’re asking my opinion.
